There’s a comic anthology coming out next month, Hyi, Homoa!, with comics about Finland and homosexuality (in Finnish only, sorry!), and I drew a thing for it.
A few prompts were given for possible subjects for the anthology comic, and one of them was Kalevala, the Finnish national epic. My first reaction was “Oh god what”. My second was “Challenge accepted”. I didn’t have time to ink the comic and it’s incredibly silly, but I sort of like it actually. Here are the first 2 pages out of 8!
And if you don’t find hot Kalevala yaois a good incentive to buy a book, there will also be comics by awesome people including Tumblr users dodostad, dreadelion, oranges-lemons and muura! The anthology will be out for Desucon and it’ll be so sweet, you guys.

This is a part from Kalevala where Joukahainen (the guy in the swamp in the first panel) crashed onto Väinämöinen’s (the bearded geezer) cart and broke it, so they had an epic rock-off and Väinämöinen sang Jouka into the swamp (Just roll with it, magic works with song in Kalevala). Joukahainen got out because he promised his sister, Aino, for Väinämöinen to marry. Except in this version Jouka has a five-year old sister, Liisi, and a younger, handsome brother, Eino. So Jouka gives Eino a dress and tells him that he’s Väinämöinen’s wife now. Cue Eino’s shocked expression in the last panel.
And yes, the art is very prettiful. ;3; I seriously hope that Hyi, Homoa! will be available for ordering, since I don’t think I can make it to Desucon.

If Päivi has trouble with potions, I have to admit I’m not the world’s greatest spellcaster.
Apparently the Pottermore wizard duel controls were not made for someone like me who’s been blessed with the grace and reflexes of a drugged rhinoceros.

After five more exploded cauldrons the Potions master starts thinking I’m doing it on purpose and sends me to detention
where I meet Sanna who managed to zap everything else with Tickling Hexes except her dueling opponent
